Even though I don’t think that they would ever stumble upon my blog, I would like to thank the ladies next door for putting on such a great Canada Day celebration. This year’s Canada party beat any Canada Day party I’ve been too in the past. Our street party was amazing. I’m really looking forward to it again next year. I would really like to help out more too. This year I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I stayed on our porch most of the time, but next year I’d like to help out allot more.

This year they had some great games for the kids. They had:

• dunk tank
• talent show
• tug-a-war
• basketball tournament
• breakdancing
• guitar places
• and a jazz singer

I should also mention, they had foooddd!! They had tons of hot dogs and hamburgers and great side dishes. We had made our own food, because we weren’t sure what to expect, but we kept getting told to go grab a hot dog, have some salad, get a piece of cake. It was great.

At 10pm, a few of us walked down to the end of our road. We could see the fireworks in full view. The best part? There was only about 20 of us standing on the corner.
